Crafting

Well, we've discontinued Pennsic, it got way too expensive to do. This coming year I'm hoping to do one or two local SCA events, specifically Warriors & Warlords. I heard there may be site problems with that one and it only pulls in 2,000 people. Poor Man's Pennsic pulls in 800 and the person putting it on wasn't able to swing things this year so that one is out. Boar's Head in December never was much of a seller, so I'm pretty limited.

That means selling more to Cat Faeries if I can. And definately getting my comics up online for sale. I don't know how well those will go to the general public but I think if I can get some of them showing, people will get interested and buy. And if I pick a few and do them up as t-shirts, maybe the local area stores (pet stores) will be interested.

I need to make some money to make up for not going to Pennsic anymore. In 15 years there our sales topped out a few years back and it's been going down slowly since then.

But with this economy..........crafts are luxury items and one of the first things to NOT be purchased anymore.
