More More More

Got another picking of catnip today, just stopping on a whim on the way home. A nice big plastic grocery bag full. The stuff was about 12" tall, all new from the last month and a half. (Will it never end?) So that's drying in the room by the computer right now.

Been filling orders, got another Narbonic gerbil order sent out, a big box of 200 cat toys to California, and have to make another 24 toys to go out tomorrow if possible. ASAP in any case.

Not as many Christmas orders have come in this year. I'm not sure why. And I've got to start in on making next year's Pennsic stuff now that so much of it was cleared out.

I made a sale! I'm going to be published!

I made a sale! There's a local dog magazine called Fetch which has been running really lousy kids coloring pictures in the back on an extra page every other month. I mean REALLY lousy copyright free stuff that looks like it was drawn back in the 1960's, so I figured what the heck, send some images of my dog paper dolls and see what they say.

It took 2 weeks but I just got a response back saying they wanted to buy two of the three, at $50 each! Whoo hoo! I've got something to stick on my art resume! They picked Chester Hangs Ten and the pirate one Scurvy Dogs. He wants a clean image of them scanned and emailed to him.

Geez, that was easy money! I can draw more.....
