2 Boxes of Catnip Down, 24 to Go

Been working on catnip toys still. Lots of 'herbed sparrows' were cut out, about 100 of them, and I got the bodies turned, stuffed and the eyes on before running out of steam. Still need to cut and sew the wings and tails, and add the beak on. There's two big boxes of stuffed mice/strawberries/chilies that need to be finished off too. Been trying to work those in shifts, so there's some variety.

The cat cartoons are going well, I have enough to put up on my website for about six months, if I do one a week. It helps to have enough to cover the 'slow' creative times, so I want a good backlog before we start putting them up. I've tested them on people, and most give a pretty good smile as they read them. (The latest involves fleas and crop circles). Got to keep the humor unexpected and quirky.

I Got Paid - For Half

The paper dolls that I sold to Fetch Magazine are starting to be scheduled for publication -- I just got a check for $50 today for the first one, which is going to be in the January issue. They pay on publication, so I have to wait for the next issue or the one after that for my other paper doll to be in that.
