I'm back to doing regular amounts of cat toys to send out to the west coast.

Also, had a re-order for a specially designed stuffed toy for someone who bought last fall.

And a wholesale order for 6 dozen mice & keets plus 25 ferret tarot decks.

Why couldn't this all have come in when I was so short on cash??????

Show's Over - Happy Easter

Well, I made a grand total of $119 at the Pagan Ostara Easter festival. Only 18 vendors or so were there, carrying everything from books, tarot decks, dresses, t-shirts, statues, dried herbs, home made brooms, candles, soaps, etc. I was the only one with catnip toys though.

It was only from noon till 5:30pm, most of my sales came between 3 and 4pm. Maybe some 500 people came? Not sure, didn't hear a tally from the events people. There was a raffle too, most of the winners were there to claim their prizes at the end of the evening.

The music (recorded, not live) was so loud I was hoarse pretty fast. I don't think people were there to actually BUY, just to look. The five tarot readers (and one palm reader) were fairly busy the entire time.

But was it worth the stress? No. Not even considering that the table cost was only $25. I could have made more that weekend by sitting home making catnip toys to send out to the person who buys them in bulk from me. But I need the local exposure. I'm still waffling over doing a farmers market in the summer.
