Super Hero Comic Books For Cats
There's a comic book fabric that showed up recently at JoAnn Fabrics with individual 'comic book' covers printed all over it. They have enough space between them to actually cut them apart and use them as 'covers' for some fake comic books made from fabric.
I got a yard of this last week to try out. There were about 8 each of the four different designs. I used a bright blue print fabric for the 'back' of the comic and a deeper blue for the inside. Turned them into cat toys -- little comic books, done up just like the 50 Shades of Tabby Gray I did two weeks ago.
For the inside I took phrases from the various movies and typed them up, printed the page off and sealed both sides with clear contact paper then machine sewed them down on the inside. Catnip goes between the layers. They look pretty nifty - making cool gifts to cat owners who are into comics!
